1. Introduction

Welcome to HeadZero ("App", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

We take your privacy seriously. We are committed to protecting your personal health information and being transparent about our data practices.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Health and Wellness Data

When you use HeadZero, you may voluntarily provide information such as pain severity, symptoms, medication data, and triggers.

2.2 Your Health Data Stays Private

We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any of your personal health data. Your health entries never leave your device except through your own iCloud account.

If you choose to enable iCloud Sync (a premium feature), your data is synced across your devices through your personal Apple iCloud account. This data is encrypted by Apple and stored in your private iCloud container. We have no access to your iCloud data.

We do use a privacy-friendly, fully anonymized analytics service to understand how the App is used in aggregate. This never includes your health data or any information that can identify you. See Section 2.4 for details.

2.4 Use of TelemetryDeck to Analyze App Usage

We use the privacy-friendly analytics service TelemetryDeck (provider: TelemetryDeck GmbH, Von-der-Tann-Str. 54, 86159 Augsburg, Germany) to analyze usage data. The use is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, as we require reliable and efficient tools for collecting app usage data in order to fulfill the contract with you, our customer.

What data is transferred?

The data processed by TelemetryDeck is completely anonymized and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about personal information.

The following data is collected, among other things:

• an anonymized, untraceable user ID (per app installation),
• actions defined by the app publisher (e.g., "app launched," "settings opened"),
• a rounded timestamp (to the nearest hour),
• device metadata (e.g., system version, app version, device type),
• additional metadata defined by the app publisher (e.g., "number of items in the database").

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information exclusively to provide the core services of the App, such as displaying history, generating PDF reports, and enabling optional iCloud sync.

3.1 Our Strict Promises

• We DO NOT sell your personal health data.
• We DO NOT use your data for advertising.
• We DO NOT use your data to train AI models without consent.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored using secure iOS storage mechanisms in a private app container. If you enable iCloud Sync, your data is encrypted and stored in your personal Apple account; we never have access to this data.
